Nowruz: Art Exhibition And Intercultural Festival
Nowruz (literally “New Day”) is one of the most beautiful and colorful Persian celebrations of the year. Nowruz is the day of the vernal equinox, which means that day and night are of equal length (“Tahwil-e Sal”), and marks the beginning of spring. It is celebrated by more than 300 million people in the Middle East, Central Asia, the Caucasus, the Black Sea Basin, and the Balkans. Nowruz is the only festival that is celebrated by different ethnic and religious groups.
